Really great, authentic Italian food. Their fresh pasta is amazing, the truffle menu is a real treat, and the wine selection is extensive. The staff are terrific, very knowlegable and accommodating. Recently had a birthday dinner here, and the dessert was gratis! A definite recommend.

A lovely long lunch catch-up with a friend and where better in town than Zafferano. The food and service are always impeccable although the bill tends to be on the higher side. The burrata, lobster linguine and tuna steak were fantastic. On a gorgeous day like today you have the option of dining outside to the front of the restaurant. Even though it is adjacent to the pavement it has been made to feel quite private. A big thanks to all the staff both front of house and behind the scenes.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The place is well decorated, modern and cosy. I've ordered the Bresaola con rucola e Parmigiano, the Ravioli di agnello con Fiore sardo, and as the main course, the Cotoletta di viello alla Milanese. I took the wonderful recommendation of the Alfeo Bolgheri Superiore Ceralti. Every bite, sip, and sensation were an amazing journey experience! When it was time for dessert, a lady from the staff found out it was my birthday. The dinner was my gift, and I was alone. The chef, staff, and customers sang happy birthday, and it was surprisingly emotional. Thank you, and I hope to come back soon!

Simply put: this was an amazing experience. I found Zaffarano simply by searching Google in an area where I was going to be after meeting with colleagues at a local pub. It turned out to be quite a wonderful find. Greeted warmly at the door and seated perfectly so a solo diner could watch the orchestra that is Zafarano on a Sunday evening. I was guided by my host to a Barolo from a winery I had never tried before - absolutely stunning. The timing of the entire meal was perfect as they understood my desire to have a relaxing and very slow dining experience. Every dish was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. This is now one of my favorite places to visit when searching for high-end Italian food.

It’s been almost 30 years since Zafferano opened, and I’d wanted to try this place for a long time. It was worth the wait! In an area not short of Italian restaurants, it’s easy to see why they have survived - the food is excellent (seriously one of the best aubergine parmigiana I’ve ever had, and the tiramisu was up there with the best of them too). It’s an elegant, but not stuffy, venue and the service is attentive and charming. A big plus is the outdoor space - which is covered and heated if need be - so perfect for when the sun’s out. Definitely recommended!

Food was excellent with gluten free options explained clearly Service and atmosphere great. Many thanks

I have been long remiss in not reviewing Zafferano earlier- it remains an exceptional Italian offering in London. Great ingredients cooked classically, exactly what you want. Service is always lovely and warm and it feels as a cosy but luxurious occasion, even if just ordering pasta. In my most recent visit, we tried the Vitello Tonnato, which was delicious and I had the Malloreddus pasta with a beef ragu, savory and warming. The mille-feuille dessert with vanilla ice-cream was delicious(maybe a bit too biscuit?); the tiramisu is the more reliable option. Only wish it was a tad less pricey… but the free bread basket softens the blow :)

As fabulous as ever! White truffle season they have a white truffle menu, juicy rib eye for two, big selection of fish, and extensive wine list which includes beautiful Sardinian wine. Delicious ice cream too. Friendly efficient service.
